Charlestown High School - Boston Public Schools
I (he/him) teach 7th and 8th grade mathematics at Charlestown High School in the Boston Public Schools district. I taught at Codman Academy Public Charter School for my first four years, and now enter my tenth year of teaching. I am a former Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow and Educators for Excellence District Action Team member. I also served as a Boston Teachers Union Building Representative the last three school years. I strive to implement creative, engaging, and student-centered math curricula for my students. I earned a BS in Economics from Boston University and an Ed.M in Mathematics Curriculum and Instruction from Harvard Graduate School of Education (TEP Program). My passions are performance-based poetry, video games, and mathematics.
