Charlestown High School - Boston Public Schools
I (he/him) teach 9th and 10th grade mathematics at Charlestown High School in the Boston Public Schools district. I taught at Codman Academy Public Charter School for my first four years, and now enter my eight year of teaching. I was a Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow for SY17-18, Senior Teaching Policy Fellow SY18-19, an Educators for Excellence District Action Team member during this summer, and a current Passion to Teach Fellow. I strive to implement a creative, engaging, and student-centered math curricula for my students. I have also present at various educational conferences and had multiple Op-Eds published. I earned a BS in Economics from Boston University and an Ed.M in Mathematics Curriculum and Instruction from Harvard Graduate School of Education (TEP Program). My passions are performance-based poetry, video games, and mathematics.
