Charlestown High School - Boston Public Schools
I (he/him) teach 9th and 10th grade mathematics at Charlestown High School in the Boston Public Schools district. I taught at Codman Academy Public Charter School for my first four years, and now enter my eight year of teaching. I was a Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow for SY17-18, Senior Teaching Policy Fellow SY18-19, an Educators for Excellence District Action Team member during this summer, and a current Passion to Teach Fellow. I strive to implement a creative, engaging, and student-centered math curricula for my students. I have also present at various educational conferences and had multiple Op-Eds published. I earned a BS in Economics from Boston University and an Ed.M in Mathematics Curriculum and Instruction from Harvard Graduate School of Education (TEP Program). My passions are spoken word and slam poetry, video games, and mathematics.
