ABOUT ME
Boston Public Schools Educator
I (he/him) wrapped up my 11th year of working in education. I served as a Social-Emotional Learning and Academic Development (SEAD) Instructional Coach for Boston Public Schools (BPS) this past school year ('23-'24). I taught mathematics for six years at Charlestown High School (4 years in H.S. and 2 years as a founding member of the M.S.) in the BPS. I previously taught at Codman Academy Public Charter School for my first four years. I am a former Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow, Educators for Excellence District Action Team member, and served as a Boston Teachers Union Building Representative for three school years. I strive to implement creative, engaging, and student-centered math curricula for my students. I have also presented at various educational conferences and had multiple Op-Eds published. For more info, click on the "Publication, Presentations & Interviews" link above.
I earned a BS in Economics from Boston University and an Ed.M in Mathematics Curriculum and Instruction from Harvard Graduate School of Education (TEP Program).
My passions are performance-based poetry, video games, and mathematics.
